We have built up strong links with Farington Moss St. Paul’s Church parish and classes regularly visit the church to support the Religious Education curriculum.
Whilst the position of permanent vicar of St. Paul’s Church is filled, Father Paul is kindly supporting school leading worship on most Thursday mornings of which parents and parishioners are always welcome.
As a whole school pupils lead the Harvest service, key stage two Advent service and Easter service at St. Paul’s church as well as the Year 6 leavers service. At Christmas time we hold a Christingle Service to end the term.
Every Tuesday morning our Year 6 prayer group join parishioners at the weekly coffee morning to share prayer and chat about school life.
Our school choir (made up of children from Years 3-6) sing during the Sunday service at 11am for Harvest, Christmas and Easter celebrations.
Children’s work around our Christian Values are displayed in the church for all to see and are changed every half term.
We also share church events on our Monday Memo school newsletter.
