St. Paul’s Launches New Three-Year Strategy for 2026–2029

Building a school where every child is ready to learn, supported to succeed and empowered to thrive.

We are delighted to share St. Paul’s Primary School’s Three-Year Strategy 2026-2029, a bold and ambitious plan that will guide our school’s development over the next three years.

At the heart of the strategy is our vision:

“To ensure all children are ready to learn, supported to succeed and empowered to thrive in the gift of life.”

Developed through meaningful collaboration with pupils, families, staff, governors and church partners, the strategy reflects our shared commitment to creating a school where diversity is celebrated, belonging is strengthened and every child is given the opportunity to thrive.

Our Four Strategic Priorities

Over the next three years, we will focus on four key priorities:

1. Ensure All Children Are Ready to Learn

   • Embedding trauma-informed and restorative approaches.

   • Strengthening emotional health and wellbeing for pupils and staff.

2. Promote Equitable Opportunities for Learning and Personal Growth

   • Strengthening adaptive teaching and inclusive practice.

   • Enabling independence, creativity and enrichment for all learners.

3. Develop a Rich and Meaningful Curriculum That Enriches the Lives of Our Children

   • Building staff confidence in assessment and curriculum leadership.

   • Embedding curriculum and writing frameworks that ensure progression and consistency.

4. Foster a Strong Sense of Belonging and Mutual Respect

   • Working closely with families to support attendance and engagement.

   • Establishing shared mutual expectations across our school community.

A Strategy Shaped by Our Community

Using an appreciative inquiry approach, we worked alongside staff and pupils to identify our strengths, celebrate what already works well and shape a shared vision for the future. This has enabled us to develop a strategy that is rooted in our values, informed by our community and focused on achieving the very best outcomes for every child.

Looking Ahead

The strategy will be delivered through a three-year cycle focused on:

• Year One: Foundations and Initial Implementation (2026-2027)

• Year Two: Deepening Practice and Strengthening Inclusion (2027-2028)

• Year Three: Embedding Impact and Sustainability (2028-2029)

As we begin this exciting new chapter, we would like to thank everyone who contributed their ideas, experience and support throughout the development of the strategy.
