Truck Trail Competition

Truck Trail Competition
by Alison Gibson yearfive yearsix

A team of 6 children from Years 5 and 6 were invited to Leyland Trucks on Friday 19th May to take part in a 'Dragon's Den' competition. The children had previously submitted an initial design for a 'truck of the future' and were chosen to compete against 10 other schools in the final. They created a table top display and had to present a 5 minute pitch to a panel of experts then answer questions about their design.

The children had worked incredibly hard putting their pitch together and really enjoyed the day at Leyland Trucks - especially getting to go inside the latest model of DAF truck!
